Muslim women wearing hijabs, asks to move out of camera view during the filming of an episode.

SHAFAQNA – So how real is The Real? We’re not sure. According to a complaint filed against Warner Bros., an alleged studio policy led the studio to ask two Muslim women, who were wearing hijabs, to move out of camera view during the filming of an episode. In February, two women allegedly attended a taping of The Real at the Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles, according to CAIR — the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Before entering the taping, studio officials allegedly told the Muslim women that they could not sit in the front row because they should not be seen on camera due to the studio’s policy.
