After Russian increasing activities in European space, NATO has started surveillance of Russian jets. According to a statement issued by NATO, Russian activities in European space are dangerous. Russian fighters include TU 95 and MIG 31 fighter jets. NATO said that Norwegian, Britain, German and Turkish jet fighters have been designated to keep watch on Russian fighters.
Statement further said that NATO jets intercepted Russian planes more than hundred times and when some fighters enter in NATO airspace, they are bound to intercept it. According to NATO such extra-flights pose threat to commercial planes because neither they have any flight plane nor they communicate with airport authorities.
