British Journal “Economist” claimed today that Nawaz Sharif is losing his support and he is unable to maintain cordial ties with India. Three major problem weakened Nawaz Sharif that include, Economic issues, uneven ties with India and protest demonstrations led by PTI Chief Imran Khan. Poor law and order situation is another cause of his waning popularity. He is unlucky that his Indian counterpart is not cooperating to normalize the ties. Nationalist leader Narenda Modi knows that his party seeks strict policy against Pakistan and therefore he decided to end peace talks in August. Indian PM also gave free hand to military in occupied Kashmir resulted in a sheer violence. On the other hand PTI chief Imran Khan was also hell bent to oust Nawaz Sharif and change the regime but due to military and Parliamentary support PTI chief could not succeed in his task. The journal added that Imran enjoys wide popularity an 18% voters are supported him that include majority of youth.
Poor law and order situation is another cause of his weakening power as Pakistan faced number of violent incidents including Wahga border attack that took 61 lives. Meanwhile another heart wrenching incident of burning alive a Christian couple in Kot Radha Kishan shows poor writ of the state. All these factors have weakened power of incumbent Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
