SHAFAQNA-
The Holy Shrine of Imam Ali, represented by members of the Board of Directors, and in attendance of the President of the Shia Endowment Sayyid Alaa al-Mousawi unveiled the new astronomical observatory at the Safi Safa Shrine.
The observatory is considered the first of its kind and will be used to observe the crescent and the other astronomical phenomena.
Safi Safa Shrine lies near Imam Ali Holy Shrine in Najaf.
