SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association)- A member of Iran’s nuclear talks team said date and venue of the next round of nuclear talks between Iran and Group 5+1 will be determined in a meeting in Muscat on November 11.
The official was reacting to some reports on Monday quoting an EU official that Iran and Group 5+1 will have a meeting in Vienna on November 18.
On November 9 and 10, there will be trilateral meetings between Iranian Foreign Minsiter Mohammad Javad Zarif, EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton and US Secretary of State John Kerry in Muscat, capital of Oman, and on Tuesday November 11, talks between Iran and Group 5+1 will be held in the same city.
The official added that date and venue of the next round of talks have not yet been agreed on and will be discussed in Muscat.
Senior member of Iran’s negotiating team Abbas Araqchi said on Sunday that Zarif, Ashton, and Kerry, in their trilateral meetings in Muscat, will discuss two issues of enrichment and sanctions.
Zarif, Kerry and Ashton had trilateral meetings on October 14-16 and discussed disputed issues such as uranium enrichment extent, ways of lifting imposed sanctions and duration of the agreement.
Zarif, in a meeting with Norwegian Foreign Minister Borge Brende in Tehran on Sunday, said if Iran’s nuclear rights are recognized, Iran is ready for signing an agreement.
