SHAFAQNA – In a part of Ayah 83 of Surah Al-Baqarah, it is mentioned: “Speak kindly (nicely) to the people.” In his commentary regarding this Ayah, Imam Hassan Askari (AS) said: Meaning, speak nicely with all the people, whether they are believers or against you. A believer treats nicely others in his/her religion, and speaks tolerantly to those opposed to him/her in order that they are attracted to the belief (Islam); and even if they are not attracted, with the nice behaviour he/she has prevented his/her believing brothers and sisters from their bad deeds/actions [1].
