Palestinians, Israeli forces clash after baby’s murder

SHAFAQNA - Clashes erupted on Friday in several parts of the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, against the backdrop of the murder of a Palestinian baby near Nablus, eyewitnesses said.

Witnesses added that the clashes had broken out in East Jerusalem’s Silwan and Ras Alamod neighborhoods.

“One Palestinian was arrested and one police officer was lightly wounded,” the eyewitnesses said.

Meanwhile, dozens of Palestinian youths were injured during clashes in Qalandia refugee camp in the southern West Bank city of Ramallah.

Earlier on Friday, a Palestinian baby boy was murdered after suffering severe burns following an attack by Jewish extremists on a village near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
