SHAFAQNA- Alkafeel: During the Ziyarat Arba’een, large numbers of pilgrims have visited the Al-Kafeel Museum for Treasures and Manuscripts .

During the period of Ziyarat Arba’een, the museum was visited by pilgrims from all over the world, such as delegations from Great Britain, France, USA, China, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, India, Guinea, Morocco, Algeria, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Syria, who were impressed by the museum’s efforts to preserve the Islamic heritage.

The waterskin of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) drew mostly their attentions as it is one of the symbols of the immortal tragedy of Karbala, which was linked to the name of the Moon of Bani Hashem; Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and revealed his great role in bringing water to the camp of Imam al-Hussayn and Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

It is to note that the Al-Kafeel Museum for Treasures and Manuscripts is considered as the first museums opened in the holy shrines in Iraq in 2009, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her). The museum contains a large number of valuables and antiques of more than hundreds years.
