Pray for Palestine this Ramadan, Union of Muslim Scholars says

SHAFAQNA – Middle East Monitor : Muslims the world over should use the coming auspicious days to firmly stand to address issues being faced by Islamic nations, especially the Palestinian people and Al-Aqsa Mosque, the International Union of Muslim Scholars has said.

The union said Islamic nations must focus their prayers over the last few days of the Muslims holy month of Ramadan to support the Palestinian people who are “blessed guardians who are defending our just cause and sacrificing their blood for the sake of Allah. Therefore, we must stand with them and with all the Palestinian people.”

It called on the Islamic and Arab governments to strive hard, to do their outmost to reform the nation’s political, social, economic and human conditions and to resolve the internal disputes within the framework of the brotherhood of faith.

Prisoners of conscious must also be released from prison, and people’s hopes and aspirations much be achieved through real reforms, the union continued.

The Islamic and free world must stand with the displaced, immigrant, oppressed, poor and vulnerable people and offer them a helping hand of relief, the statement continued.
