SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – On his way to Karbala, Imam Hussain (AS) read a short sermon, saying: Verily, the world has changed and has become unfamiliar and hardly any good is left, like left overs of the food at the bottom of dishes and it has become an inferior life, like a dangerous pasture. Can you not see that they do not act justly and do not abandon the wrong doings? In this situation, it is appropriate for believers to be eager to meet God and get ready for martyrdom. I also see death as prosperity and martyrdom and consider living with oppressors a disgrace and shameful. Truely, most people are servants of the world and its wealth and assets, and their religion is on their tongues, like the water inside their mouths which flow on their tongues. They want the religion to secure their world and livelihood but when they are tested in their religion through calamities, the number of real believers are very low .
