SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Sistani answered a question about drawing faces of women with Hijab.
Question: In some western countries, the drawing artist sits in public places and draws the faces of individuals in exchange for money. The drawing artist sits in front and looks at the face of the person. Is it allowed for a woman with Hijab to ask the drawing artist to draw her face?
The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: It is not appropriate for her to do so.
