SHAFAQNA – The Islamic Society of Central Jersey will hold a seminar with the American Civil Liberties Union, the Association of Muslim American Lawyers and New Jersey Muslim Lawyers Associations from 6:30-8 p.m. on Feb. 10 at the center, 4145 Route 1 south, at Promenade Boulevard, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

Guests will come together to fight efforts to suppress free speech and the right to protest, defend people who were unconstitutionally jailed for being too poor to pay court fines, work to defend people who are being discriminated against under the banner of religion, etc.

In addition to issues concerning “Knowing your Rights,” there will also be a question-and-answer session specifically on immigration conditions and rights.
