Shafaqna Institute’s Director speaks to Press TV on Turkey’s aggression on the Kurds

SHAFAQNA – Reports say the H-D-P which is the third largest party has halted its legislative works although not fully withdrawing from the parliament. According to a party spokesman, the HDP will not participate in general assembly or commission meetings. The move follows the arrest of top party officials including a dozen sitting lawmakers. Among them are the party’s co-chairs Salaheddin Demirtash and Figen Yek-sen-da who were detained as part of a terrorism-related investigation. Following his detention, Demirtash announced he has fallen victim to a civilian coup led by the government and the presidential palace.
