SHAFAQNA – The British Prime Minister has visited the Persian Gulf island of Bahrain. While there, she has called for closer security ties with the Persian Gulf Arab states which stand accused of rights violations. Even her own country has said that PM May is courting controversial bedfellows while in Bahrain. In this edition of the debate, we’ll discuss this controversial visit, at how the UK is risking Persian Gulf dictators money in exchange for military sales, and why May hyped up a false threat which she said Iran poses to the region and the wider middle east.
