Sisters of the Islamic Movement wrapped up Conference In Mafara

SHAFAQNA – Conference for the Sisters of the Shiite Islamic Movement wrapped up In Mafara, Zamfara state (northwestern Nigeria) on Sunday the 11th of October 2015. The 3-day conference, aimed at character building, was attended by sisters in Sokoto, Zamfara, kebbi and environs.

Spekears include Malama Maimuna Husaini Sokoto who spoke on character molding, Malama Juwairiyyah on Hijab and Malama A’isha Abdurrahman on Bara’a and Wilayah. Sheikh Kasimu Umar Sokoto also addressed the participants.

The closing lecture was delivered by Malama Zeenah Ibraheem who started by speaking extensively on the mission of man on Earth. She also spoke on the Islamic Movement which she described as as Movement which encompasses all Muslims irrespective of Mazhab.

She called towards observing Sharia in all dealings, performing deeds for the sake of Allah and avoiding unlawful means of livelihood. To have a sound ideology of the Islamic Movement she called on participants to be listening to lectures of Sheikh Zakzaky.
