SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – Muezzin of the Day of Judgment is another title of Imam Ali (AS). Imam (AS) in this regard said: I am that Muezzin who will communicate the divine news to this world and the hereafter, and then he recited Ayah 44 of Surah Al-A’araaf. In this Ayah the topic is about the Day of Judgment when the residents of hell will be separated from the residents of paradise, a Muezzin will declare that the curse of God will be on oppressors. Ayah 43 of Surah Al-A’araaf explained the situation as: When the residents enter paradise, God will make their hearts pure towards each other and all their worries will be removed, then they will say to the residents of the hell, we found out that all God’s promises were true, have you found out about the warnings which had been given to you? Voice will say: Yes and then a Muezzin will say, God’s curse is on the oppressors.

This Muezzin of the Day of Judgment is Amiral Momeneen (the Commander of the believers), Imam Ali (AS). Then Imam Ali (AS) continued by reciting Ayah 3 of Surah Al-Tawbah: I am that Adhan (call to prayer) which is mentioned by God in Surah Al-Tawbah. The explanation of this Ayah is that on the day of Hajjul Akbar, a messenger was supposed to convey the message of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) to Moshreks (unbelievers). The content of the message was that the Moshreks were not allowed to come and go to Mecca as before and the periods of treaties between 2 sides ended. It was a very difficult task and the Prophet (PBUH) chose Imam Ali (AS) to carry it out.

This is the appearance of the task but the actual truth behind it is much greater, the Adhan and the announcement in fact is a show of the truth behind the personality of Imam Ali (AS), otherwise this announcement is not that easy. Then Imam Ali (AS) said: I am that Mohsen (beneficent) who God mentioned in Ayah 69 of Surah Al-Ankabut: We guide those who endeavour in the way of Allah (SWT) and the Almighty is with Mohseneen.
