Special Dua by Imam Sadeq (AS) to be recited at the time of the occultation of Imam Mahdi (AJ)

SHAFAQNA – It is narrated from Zurarah (RA) who said: I heard from Imam Sadeq (AS) who said: Our Qa’em (Imam Mahdi (AJ)) will have a long occultation before his uprising. I asked Imam Sadeq (AS): Why; and Imam (AS) replied: Because if he re-appears, they will kill him and the earth will be emptied from the Proof of God. Imam Sadeq (AS) continued by saying: O’ Zurarah, he is the one who people are waiting for. People will doubt his birth, and each person says a different thing. But Shias are tested by Allah (SWT), and in this difficult test, those who seek falsehood will be doubtful. Zurarah (RA) who seemed very anxious, said: O’ my life be sacrificed for you, what can I do if I am present at that time (of occultation)?

Imam (AS) replied: If you are present at that time, always recite this Dua: “O’ Allah (SWT), make Yourself known to me, and if You do not make Yourself known to me, I will not be able to know about Your Prophet (PBUH); O’ Allah (SWT), Make Prophet (PBUH) known to me, if You do not make Prophet (PBUH) known to me, I will not be able to know Your Proof (Hojjat). O’ Allah (SWT) make Your Proof known to me, if You do not make Your Proof known to me, I will go astray and will be misled [1].”
