Starting the condolences’ processions on the first day of Muharram

SHAFAQNA- Alkafeel: As is customary, at the beginning of the holy month of Muharram in every year, since the morning of the first day of the sacred month of Muharram 1440AH corresponding to the September 11, 2018, the condolences’ processions have launched to arrive to the shrine of the standard-bearer of Imam Al-Hussayn; Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) for presenting their condolences for this painful tragedy of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), according to a specific table prepared by the Department of rites, processions and Hussayni bodies in Iraq and in the Muslim world of the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).

These processions started entering the Al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine from the Qiblah gate then go out from the gate of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) continuing their march in the area between the two holy shrines to enter the sanctuary of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) from the gates of martyrs.

The processions movement is organized and smooth to not affect the movement of visitor. The closing is held at his holy shrine by establishing obituary Majlis in which many elegies showing the greatness of the tragedy are delivered.
