Venue: Committee Room 20, Upper Committe Corridor, Palace of Westminster, House of Commons

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on International Freedom of Belief and the Al-Khoei Foundation invite you to an event about the status of Shi’a Muslims in Bahrain, Saudia Arabia and Pakistan.

15-20% of Muslims globally are Shi’a. They constitute a majority in Iran, Iraq, Bahrain, and Azerbaijan and there are significant populations in many other countries including Saudia Arabia and Pakistan. Our event will provide detailed information on the situation of Shi’a Muslims around the world and specifically in Bahrain, Saudia Arabia and Pakistan. It will feature expert speakers from each country who work closely with Shi’a Muslim communities.

Please RSVP to amro.hussain@parliament.uk

Very best wishes,

Rt Hon George Howarth, MP for Knowsley, Officer, APPG for International Freedom of Religion or Belief
