SHAFAQNA – Rumours circling the internet suggest that Californian technology giant Apple will announce two new iPads on October 16. The company is expected to unveil a 9.7-inch device possibly called the ‘iPad Air 2’ or the ‘iPad 6’, thought to be a continuation of the current iPad model, and a 12.9-inch ‘iPad Pro’, which will be a larger, faster version of the current tablet.
The new devices are also thought to be almost 0.5mm smaller and like the iPhone 6 – both models will have the TouchID fingerprint sensor.
They’ll also match the iPhone with eight mega-pixel cameras. iPad Pro is rumoured to have a larger screen and also a faster A8X processor than current models – the same chip which is included inside the latest iPhone models.
The new iPads will come in the ‘Bling’ style gold model – as well as the existing black and white.
