Tensions rise in Cameroon as armed militants step up violence

SHAFAQNA – Officials confirmed on Wednesday that at least 10 people have been killed by a suicide bomber at a mosque in northern Cameroon.

Nigerian militant group Boko Haram have recently stepped up terror attacks in neighburing Cameroon, Chad and Niger since last year.

Several attacks in Cameroon have been carried out by women, Reuters reports, proof that terror militants are actively trying to destabilize society’s fabric.
