British Journal Ship technology told that Maritime security firm warned Shipping industry of terrorist attacks. They warned shipping industry to beef up security. This warning was specially issued to oil tankers as Al-Qaeda has hinted to attack oil tankers to achieve strategic aims. It is said that Al-Qaeda can target strategic pints like Atlantic sea, Arabian sea and strait of Hormuz, Gibraltar and Suez canal, therefore it is need of the hour to beef up the security of these strategic points. A month ago, Alqaeda attempted to take over Pakistan Navy frigate NS Zulfiqar but failed. They wanted to attack US fleets in Arabian Sea.
