Terrorists open fire on Russian humanitarian aid convoys in Syria

SHAFAQNA – The Russian Defense Ministry said armed groups opened fire on Russian humanitarian aid convoys in Damascus Countryside and Homs countryside in Syria on Tuesday.

The Ministry’s website published a statement from the Russian center for coordination and monitoring the cessation of hostilities in Syria, which affirmed that Russian humanitarian aid convoys came under fire from unknown militants in Harasta in Damascus Countryside and Kafarnan in Homs countryside.

Neither the members of the Center nor the Syrians who participated in the humanitarian activity were injured, the statement added.

The statement also said that 6 breaches of the cessation of hostilities were documented ruing the past 24 hours, with 5 breaches in Lattakia province and 1 in Hama province.
