The effects of fulfilling the believer’s needs

SHAFAQNA – The Prophet of Islam (PBUH) said: Whoever fulfills the needs of his brother in religion, is like he has spent all his life worshipping Allah (SWT) [1]. Imam Sadeq (AS) also said: No Muslim fulfills the needs of other Muslim unless God tells him, your reward is with Allah (SWT), and God will not be satisfied with less than paradise for you [2]. In another narration, Imam Sadeq (AS) said: Fulfilling the needs of a believer is more loved by Allah (SWT) than 20 Hajj pilgrimages with expenditure of 10000 Derham for each pilgrimage [3].

Shoaib Khazaeie narrated: After the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) and at the time of his burial, there were marks on his holy shoulders, I asked his son, Imam Sajjad (AS) about the causes of those marks. Imam Sajjad (AS) replied: They are due to carrying bags of food and essential things on his back for widows, orphans and the needy [4].
