SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Hashemi Shahroodi answered questions about a disbelieving person inheriting from a Muslim person.

Question: 1) Can a disbelieving child inherit from a Muslim mother? If the non-Muslim child cannot inherit, considering that the mother has other children (3 sons and 3 daughters); 2) Will the share of the non-Muslim child be given to other children or the religious ruler?

The Grand Ayatollah Shahroodi: 1) No, the disbelieving person does not inherit from a Muslim; 2) Belongs to Muslim inheritors.
