Ayatollah Shobairi answered a question about the criterion for joining the congregational prayer

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Shobairi Zanjani answered a question regarding the criterion for joining congregational prayer.

Question: In order to join (Iqtida) in the congregational prayer, must we wait until the people in the first row to say Takbeer so that the connection is established?

The Grand Ayatollah Shobairi: If they are ready to say Takbeer, a person can join (Iqtida), and also if the distance of the person to the next one who has already joined (Iqtida) is less than the height of the person who is prostrating, the connection is established.
