SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Shobairi answered questions about forecasting and drawing lots for sports completions by operators.
Question: There are operators who ask their audience to forecast the results of sport events such as football and volleyball and (operators) charge more than the cost of a normal text and out of correct answers, they draw lots. Is this considered to be betting and Haram?
