The Grand Ayatollah Sistani’s Fatwa about making a vow (Nadhr) for holy Shrines

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: If a vow (Nadhr) is made for the shrine of one of Imams (AS) or the children of Imams (AS) and has no specific use, must be spent for the repair, lighting, and carpets or similar uses. And If this is not possible or the shrine is totally self-sufficient; use it to help the poor pilgrims.
