SHAFAQNA – In his commentary (Tafseer) of Ayah 37 of Surah Qaaf, Ayatollah Hadavi Tehrani said: Allah (SWT) mentioned in this Ayah: “There truly is a reminder in this for whoever has a heart, whoever listens attentively.” The commentary of this Ayah is that whoever pays attention and act, will be admonished (awakened). Of course if anyone recites this Ayah in a human manner and according to the Quran has heart and ears. Ayatollah Hadavi added: Basically, in the Quran heart does not mean a part of body which circulated the blood; but it is considered as the centre of spiritual, morality reformation and recognition (of God) for the human being. And by ears it means, to listen and act. Ayatollah Hadavi said: Allah (SWT) said that the road is not difficult/too far, it is near; but this short distance when all the veils/curtains are removed can be seen that for a life time we were in the sea but stayed thirsty.
