The next war would be quite Short: Narendra Modi

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the Air, Naval and Ground forces that next wars will be short and there is no chance of long war in the future, therefore Army should adopt the policy of deterrence. He urged security forces to be prepared for the looming threats, adding that there is need of digital armed forces.

He issues this statement at a time where Indian forces are facing border skirmishes both with Pakistan and China. He said that no one can predict the security challenges. According to Indian Media Modi said that we are facing an unpredictable future where situation can abruptly change. It is hard to maintain technical changes. He maintained that threats can be calculated but they can be oblivious about the real enemy.
