SHAFAQNA- On Saturday, Spanish football club Real Madrid, celebrated Ahed Al-Tamimi, the Palestinian militant girl, with the donation of this club’s shirt, for standing up against Israel.

According to Alan Palestinian News Center, the teenager was honoured by Spanish football club Real Madrid , handing over a shirt with her name and the No.9 printed on the back.

Previously, the Real Madrid club also had been welcomed Ahmed al-Dawashah, a Palestinian child who had been saved by the Israeli settlers in Nablus after his family’s fires.

The 17-year-old militant girl was arrested in December 2017 after a video of her slapping and hitting two Israeli soldiers outside of her house in the village of Nabi Saleh in the occupied West Bank went viral. A military court sentenced both Ahed and her mother to eight months in prison.

She was released from prison in late July after being sentenced to eight months behind bars for an altercation with Israeli soldiers in front of her house.
