Tunisian President refuses to label Hezbollah a terror organization

SHAFAQNA  – Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi expressed his displeasure on Friday over classifying the Lebanese party of Resistance – Hezbollah as a ‘terrorist organization’ in the statement issued by the Arab Interior Ministers Council.

During his meeting with Foreign Minister Khamis Al-Jehinawi, Essebsi called on the Foreign Ministry “to correct the mistake that our country has committed,” and “to blame those who were responsible for making the decision.”

Shortly after the meeting, the Foreign Ministry will issue a statement to fix the Tunisian official position regarding the above-mentioned classification.
