Two collections of Ashura poetry published

SHAFAQNA – An Ashura poetry collection ‘Enough, Robab’ and ‘For Your Coming’, composed by Hassan Lotfi, is published by Jomhouri Publications.

The poetry collection ‘Enough, Robab’ is composed of 39 poems in which topics such as Hazrat Moslem (AS), the entrance to Karbala, Hazrat Roqayeh (SA), Hazrat Zeinab’s children (SA), Hazrat Abdollah Ibn Al Hossein (AS), Hazrat Qassem Ibn Al Hassan (AS), Hazrat Ali Asghar (AS), Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS), Hazrat Abbas (AS), Imanat, Ashura Night, Ashura day and Shaam-e-Ghariban are discussed.In one of the poems of this book we read:

Enough, Robab; half of the night time has passed,
Sleep now, half of the night is passed
Don’t stare at the spear, don’t point to Ali,
Asghar is not here … don’t shake your hand
Don’t grab your dress with clenched hands,
Don’t grab your dress with your broken nail

The Ashura poetry collection ‘For Your Coming’ is composed of 43 poems which are arranged in accordance with the first ten days of the month of Muharram. It is published in 116 pages, with a print run of 1100 copies by Jomhouri Publications.
