He has been teaching the Quran to the visually-impaired using braille copies of the Holy Book for 25 years, according to Ilkha website.
Muamar was born blind but it did not stop him from making progress in educational fields.
He is currently a teacher of ethics and Islamic teachings at a special school for the visually-impaired.
Apart from teaching at school, Muamar holds Quranic courses under the supervision of Gaziantep’s Dar –al-Ifta.
He says when the Dar –al-Ifta suggested that he hold the courses 25 years ago he keenly welcomed it.
Tens of visually-impaired children and teenagers take part in the courses and learn the Quran, he notes.
Muamar says he has recently established a society of visually-impaired Quran learners to provide the ground for all visually impaired individuals in the city, and later all over Turkey, to learn the Quran.
