SHAFAQNA – Being optimistic or pessimistic depends on the human being’s thinking and perception. If a person’s religious knowledge is increased in a correct and proper manner, and all his/her wrong thoughts are corrected, in that case hopefulness and optimism will happen. For example in religious education (Islamic principles), it has been mentioned that 1) God’s favours and blessings are more than Divine Punishment. 2) Good of this world and the hereafter is not given to any believer unless for the sake of his/his optimism and hope about God. 3) God is magnanimous and all the good is from God, and God is generous towards a believing servant who is optimistic and hopeful about God. 4) Optimism about God means to have no hope in anything/anyone else except God, and have no fear except from own sins. 5) The Prophet of Islam (PBUH) emphasized: No one must die except being optimistic about Allah (SWT) .
