What are the effects of constructive criticism?

SHAFAQNA – It is narrated from Imam Sajjad (AS) who said: How often there are individuals who are deceived from being praised and became corrupted. And how often there are individuals whose faults have been ignored and became selfish [1]. Imam Musa ibn Jaafar (AS) said: Allocate some of your time for socializing with trusted religious brothers who are aware of your faults and without any tricks can inform/warn you of them [2]. It is also narrated from the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) who said: As you stand in front of the mirror to find out about your apparent faults, our believing brother is also a mirror which shows our faults, the ones which we cannot know about them by ourselves [3].
