SHAFAQNA – It is narrated from Imam Ali (AS) who said: The Prophet of Islam (PBUH) prohibited any woman from making up herself for anyone else except her husband. Therefore, if she carry out such an act, it is appropriate that God burn her in fire (in the hereafter) [1]. It is also narrated from the Prophet (PBUH) who said: Whenever you see that some women from my Ummah make their hair like the camel hump and appear among non-Mahrams; tell them that their Salaats are not accepted [2]. It is also narrated from Imam Sadeq (AS) who said: Imam Ali (AS) prohibited women from raising their hair in one section (of the head) and from showing the hair above the forehead and colouring palms of their hands with henna (to display) and said: The women of Bani Israel were perished because of those acts (those who carried out those deeds).
