What did the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) say about protecting the reputation of a believer?

SHAFAQNA – It is narrated from the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) who said: O’ the House of God, how great you are and how respected you are by Allah (SWT), swear to the Supreme Being that the honour of a believer is more than yours; because God has made Haram one thing about you but three things about the believer: life, wealth and having bad opinion against him/her [1].

Therefore, as the reputaion of a person means everything to him/her and if it is lost is like losing all the existence; the life becomes meaningless even if all the material wealth is there. Now, if someone tries to protect the reputation of a person, has done a great deed and that is why the Prophet (PBUH) mentioned that paradise is Wajeb for such a person and said: Whoever protects the reputation of a believer, without any doubt, paradise becomes Wajeb to such a person [2].
