What is the effect of absolute belief and devotion to God?

SHAFAQNA – Imam Ali (AS) said: How surprising it is that they asked me to come and fight and stand in front of their arrows and bear the strokes of their swords! The mourners must cry for them! So far no one has managed to frighten me of war and the strokes of the swords. I have absolute belief in my God and have no doubt and hesitation in my religion [1].
