What is the ruling about Salaats which were not performed in the direction of Qiblah? The Grand Ayatollah Sistani’s answer

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Sistani answered a question about Salaats which were not performed in the direction of Qiblah.

Question: For 5 months I have performed my Salaats with 35 degrees difference (from the direction of Qiblah); what is the religious duty?

The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: If you are certain about the direction which you performed Salaats and then afterwards it becomes clear that the direction was not right, there is no need to re-perform (those) Salaats.
