What is the ruling on eating meat imported from non-Muslim countries? The Grand Ayatollah Safi’s Fatwa

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Safi issued Fatwa about meat imported from non-Muslim countries.

The Grand Ayatollah Safi: Meats brought from disbelieving countries, and is not proven they are Halal according to the religion, are Najis (unclean) and Haram to eat, and selling and buying them is not allowed, and the writings and sayings of unauthorized and unknown individuals, are not credible according to the religion.
