SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Fayyaz answered a question about marriage.
Question: A person (girl) just for the sake of temporary marriage with a boy has destroyed her virginity. Is Nikah possible in such a condition without father’s permission, and is the Nikah of these two correct?
The Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi: According to assumption of the question, the girl is considered as virgin and their Nikah without father’s (guardian’s) permission is null and void. The girl has committed sin and must repent; but for the boy, only Nikah is null and void if he has not committed Haram act.
