What is worship?

SHAFAQNA – Worship means attachment, and if a person is the servant of the world, is the captive of it and is attached to it. Meaning, such a person internally is completely humble towards material things; and externally obeys his/her own inappropriate desires; because worship includes total humbleness of the heart and obedience of all the parts of the body. (On the other hand) worship of the world causes stagnation for the human being. Meaning, attachment to the materials of the world, causes the human being from moving forward and at the end becomes empty and without any value. But worship of God is exactly the opposite [1].
