What rank and position mean to real believers?

SHAFAQNA – Whoever is given a Divine position in this world, does not consider it an enjoyment of the soul; meaning, this type of person neither is overjoyed with praises from other people nor use the position for personal gains. Sometimes this type of Divine human beings may suffer as a result of positions given to them. That is why, Imam Ali (AS) used to say: This governance is not even worth as much as the sneeze of a goat to me [1].
Therefore, a Divine position is a Divine duty and it is not for enjoyment in this world, even it can be said it is a kind of self-discipline of the soul. So, a person in such a position, sees himself/herself responsible as long he/she is holding that position and does not neglect his/her duties and never falls in love with that position [2].
