SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Sistani answered a question about Khoms for Ihram clothing.
Question: What is the duty of an adult person if he/she does not know that his/her Ihram clothing has been bought with the profit which its Khoms has been paid or not, or from the profit of the same year, or from that which no Khoms has been due for it?
The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: There is no problem to wear the mentioned Ihram clothing, and taking the precaution, can go to the religious authority and sort out the matter about the possibility of paying the necessary Khoms.
