Which deeds affect fasting?

SHAFAQNA – Imam Sadeq (AS) said: Adopt humbleness for the sake of God whilst you are fearful and anxious of Divine Punishment, and hopeful and eager for Divine Mercy. And must cleanse your hearts from faults, and purify your souls from tricks. And cleanse the body from uncleanness, and must avoid anything that is not related to God, and have God’s Welayah (guardianship) in your fasting, and by silence and saying nothing which comes from reflection, avoid in private or public anything that God prohibited [1].
