SHAFAQNA – A man came to the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and said: There is no bad deed left which I have not committed, is there a way of repenting and returning exist for me? The Prophet (PBUH) asked: Are your parents alive? That man replied: My father is alive. The Prophet (PBUH) said: Go and be kind to him. When that man left, the Prophet (PBUH) said: It is a pity his mother is not alive [1].

In reply to a question about the rights of the father and the mother, the Prophet (PBUH) replied: Those two are your paradise and hell [2]. In another narration, the Prophet (PBUH) said: Looking at three things is considered as praying; looking at the face of the father and the mother, looking at the Quran and looking at the sea [3].
