Why is it bad to walk arrogantly?

SHAFAQNA – Basheer narrated: We were with Imam Baqir (AS) in the Mosque when we saw a man passed us. When he was walking, he used to raise his shoulders and move them side to side. Imam Baqir (AS) said: He is arrogant. I said: He is poor. Imam (AS) repeated: He is arrogant. Therefore, the issue of arrogance is not about having money or not [1]. It is also narrated from the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) who said: If any one walks on the earth arrogantly, the earth and whatever is under it and over it, will curse that person [2].
