SHAFAQNA – Yemen’s Ansarullah fighters and allied army units have launched fresh retaliatory attacks against Saudi Arabia inflicting heavy casualties on the kingdom’s forces.
At least 24 Saudi soldiers were killed and nearly 40 others injured as Yemenis fired rockets into the Jizan region inside the kingdom. Yemeni snipers killed two Saudi soldiers in the same region. Ansarullah fighters also fired rockets at strategic Saudi oil tanks in the Asir region and a military base in the Najran region. Elsewhere, a large number of Saudi forces and their mercenaries were killed by the army in Yemen’s Hajjah province. The Yemeni reprisal attacks are aimed at compelling Riyadh to stop its deadly war, which has left over 7400 civilians dead since March 26.
