Shafaqna English- Lenovo, the Chinese tech giant, reported a 43% leap in quarterly revenue on Thursday(13 Aug 2026), far exceeding Wall Street forecasts and pushing its shares up nearly 22%. The robust performance is largely attributed to the company’s strategic positioning within the AI hardware boom and the global memory chip shortage, both of which have created favorable market conditions for the world’s largest PC manufacturer.
For the quarter ended June 30, Lenovo’s revenue totaled $26.94 billion, eclipsing the $22.3 billion forecast by analysts. The hardware giant’s results were underpinned by strong AI-related demand and robust PC sales, which have remained a dependable revenue stream for the company.
